An overview of Invisible Friends NFT Journey

Markus Magnusson launched a collection of five thousand animated NFTs, minted on 23rd February 2022. It is the third project of Random Character Collective. So the team of two earlier successfully minted NFT projects (SlimHoods and MoodRollers) has worked behind the Invisible friends NFT project.

Approximately 70k Twitter followers were there when Invisible Friends started their project. And everyone liked to get on Whitelist for this new project.

Markus has a marketplace created by himself “Foundation” where he sold his many arts before.

A mysterious Character Behind Invisible Friends NFT

Markus Magnusson is the creator of the Invisible Friends NFT project. Markus Magnusson is an animator and illustrator by profession. Markus is one of the most mysterious characters because people couldn’t find very many pictures of him. He founded a YouTube Channel with only a few videos. The channel name is “Motion Markus”. He launched a video titled“New course – The Magic of Walk Cycles”. It is a series of animations and illustrations of a walking character.

In the event that you take a gander at the site for the course, you have examples of planning the chest area and leg and shoe animation and garments and hair animation and illustrations about explicit sorts of walk cycles.

Furthermore, that is actually the thing Invisible Friends NFT is, and it appears Markus has been into walk cycles since June 2018 when it looks like on his Patreon he had some instructional exercise on making smooth walk cycles as an illustrator.

So this is all to say that I think the craft of all of these pieces will be fantastic; I clearly haven't seen them yet; however this Markus Magnusson resembles the genuine article with regards to animation.

Additionally important is that individuals have effectively bought his craft on Foundation, which is essentially an NFT stage, and his pieces have gone from two ETH To 4.8723 ETH. So that is clearly a decent sign.

Now I am describing Random Character Collective:

Invisible Friends is the third part of the Random Character Collective. Before it launched, James Curran A.K.A “SlimJim’ launched the SlimHoods NFT collection. It was also an animated NFT project.

"While working on SlimHoods, I always had the thought in the back of my mind that I wanted to use all I was learning when building my own animated generative project to assist other animators accomplish the same," SlimJim stated. Despite the fact that the NFT community is home to a large number of incredibly talented animators, there are still very few animated NFT collections available. I made the decision to work on these artists' projects in conjunction with them and to create a group of animated generative projects, the first of which will be SlimHoods. The Random Character Collective is what it is named.

The second NFT project is MoodRollers created by Lucas Zanott. It was minted on December 10, 2021.

And the third one is Invisible Friends NFT.

The consecutive Three collections are:

  1. SlimHoods- It was minted on October 18, 2021.
  2. MoodRollers- It was minted on December 10, 2021
  3. Invisible Friends NFT - minted on February 23, 2022

So, Invisible Friends NFT started with approximately 60k members of Random Character Collective’s Discord server. This server is extraordinarily well decorated. For example, It has a #mental-health channel where members are communicating with each other, and sharing positive vibes. It has made the community hype and positively engaging for all members.

It has an Artwork and meme channel where members share their creativity. Posting on these 2 channels was one of the criteria for getting whitelisted. So, members shared their highly qualified artwork and memes that made the server engaging.

The impressive artwork, positive community as a whole, and many other social platforms made the surroundings of this project “Hype.”It brought success.

The unique WL requirements of Invisible Friends:

Each SlimHood or MoodRoller is equal to 1 point. If you hold two SlimHoods you have 2 points. If you hold two SlimHoods and two Mood Rollers you have 4 points.

Around 2500 holders with the most points at the time of the holder snapshot will be added to the Early Access list.

Those with 4 or more points will get an automatic spot.

The remaining spots will then go first to any holders with 3 points. Then to holders of 2 points.

If there aren’t enough spots left for the number of 2-point holders, everyone with 2 points will be put into a raffle for the remaining Early Access spots.

A snapshot date has not been decided yet but will be announced once a mint date for Invisible Friends is determined.

All holders will be required to submit their addresses when we request them at a later date. Just holding will not give you a spot if you don’t submit your address. Again, we will ask for these at a later date so you don’t need to submit anything right now.

We will go through a strict verification process, so if you're caught splitting up your holdings to get more pre-sale spots you will be taken off the list.

But, we do want to reward our extra large holders. Assuming that not all 5000 people on our Early Access list will mint, the remainder will be given to our largest holders to mint an additional Invisible Friend.

Those holders who already have the Early Access role will not be on the holder's list, but rather on the community/non-holders list.

All Early Access list spots are good for 1 Mint.

At this time there are also around 900 spots left for non-holders.

Finally, we will only give additional details about the pre-sale and the Invisible Friends mint in the official announcement channels. We will never DM you or post details anywhere else. There WILL be scams, so please be very careful!

We have 100 spots to give out on their early access list... here's how we're splitting them up:

25% - Creative contest

20 %- Twitter luck-based giveaway

25 %- Discord giveaway to @Invisible Friends Early Access

25% - Discord giveaway to @20 role

5% - Discord giveaway to @Language Moderator

See below for an update on the holder count for SlimHoods and MoodRollers. Use these numbers at your discretion.

After considering collaborations, promotional spots, RCC vault, and team mints, there are around 2250 spots for holders and 2250 spots for non-holders.

The final number should be around 2250. Could be a little more, could be a little less.

There are around 650-700 spots left for non-holders. Still a nice chance for those who have been fantastic community members or have been making fan art/memes.

WGMInterfaces is also giving away 100 Invisible Friends early access spots on their Twitter.

Early Minters vs. Non-Minter Owners:

Digging a little deeper, 85% of the 1,300 OS sales were from coin collectors who made an average profit of 9.3Ξ and a median of 8.85Ξ. Moving on, here comes the most interesting part:

What happens to the 15% of resales that come from non-miners who paid the market price?

To date, there have been 220 "non-interim sales" totaling 2,060Ξ. ONLY just over half (59%) managed to make a profit (average 1Ξ). 7% of the sales broke even (loss if you take into account gas fees) and 24% realized losses (average 1.4Ξ).

Many other social platforms made the surroundings of this project “Hype.”It brought success. Such As:

  1. Collaboration with other influencers. As I said before it has started with a ready fanbase of Random Character Collectible.
  2. It uses all the social platforms to make the project hype. Especially high domain authoritative websites, news, review, and journal.
